How to ask
- Email care@boundary.site with the subject "Delete my Boundary account".
- Include the mobile number you sign in with, your name, and your Society and unit.
- To confirm it's you, we'll send a one-time code to that number or call you on it.
We'll confirm your request within 3 working days and complete it within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your account and sign-in details, so you can no longer sign in.
- Your profile: name, email address and profile photo, in every Society you belong to.
- Your memberships, removing you from your units and from the committee.
What may be kept
- Your Society's records. If you are a unit's owner, your Society will need a new owner for that unit; the Society may keep a record that you were its owner or a resident, and when, as part of its history and accounts.
- Accounts. Expenses and approvals you recorded as a treasurer or president stay with the Society's accounts, which it may be required to keep.
- Legal and security records. Logs and records we must keep by law or to resolve a dispute, kept only as long as needed, usually up to 180 days for logs.
Leaving one Society only
If you've moved out but want to keep using Boundary elsewhere, ask your Society's secretary (owners) or your unit's owner (tenants and family) to remove you. Your account and other Societies stay as they are.
You can withdraw a deletion request until we complete it by replying to our confirmation email.
